THE STORY: Launch students have the opportunity to learn with purpose, develop their character, and unleash their potential through compelling hands on learning and a deep sense of belonging and personal agency. The main principles in this project were education centering students' experiences, stewardship of the project through the lens of environmental justice, and community justice, liberation, and anti racism. Colloqate led research of the site for the Groundsetting document; provided coordination for the Community Design sessions synthesizing the 900 comments from students, families, teachers, faculty, board members, and project committee members; and led the design of the Community Hall a flexible multi purpose space.
